For some years now Apple had not made a new change on the ipad mini, but this 2021 model broke the records, in fact lets say the 2021 mini ipad was the first to ditch. The formal home button was changed to a smaller bezels. We all thoughts that Apple will not redesign the ipad mini but they took us all by surprised after the 2021 model, nowadays there are new changes in each single generation. For those that are thinking about the appearance, the case of the ipad mini is same as new ipads, unless you spill it out no one will know you are are using the mini ipad.Unless the person is someone that knows about Apple products and its colors. Somehow i am wishing apple can make more advanced colors so as to help differentiate more of its product. But we don’t have choice.

There was no significant change in the camera, it still have the portrait oriented shape.It is more advanced than other Ipads in the gadget market. So the camera quality is really not something to trouble your head about. You can still rely on this ipad for your facetime calls, you just have to hold it like your phone. So you don’t have to worry about the camera.
Apple Pencil
Another interesting change in the ipad mini is the support of the Apple Pencil pro, its a thing of joy to see that Apple now supports the Apple pencil pro on every new ipad models they innovate. This advanced feature was however introduced this year. Although some people that purchase it, were complaining that the lineup was a bit messy for a while, but trust Apple they worked on it and introduced two options with slight changes in prices. The USB-C Apple Pencil is sold for $79 and the Pencil Pro is sold for $129. Now the lineup is been streamlined smoothly.
But looking at the prices you will know, even without been told that the Apple Pencil Pro is more advanced than the standard one. It has advanced features like Pressure, sensitivity, haptic Feedback, a gyroscope now you seamlessly roll the pencil in your hands to change your brush width. Apart from that you can also double tap controls to change tools.

I mentioned before that there isn’t a lot to complain about in the Ipad mini design. Apple had steadily been working on their products speakers and i was not surprised that, this model has good stereo speakers.The sound of this speaker is even much better and advanced than other models. With it’s modest bezels. This innovation is perfectly lined with other Apple ipad models.
Battery Life
But i am sorry to say that the battery life is not as strong as Apple promises, it does not always hit 10 hours. For those that uses different apps, you can expect it to last for like 7-6 hours before recharging but if not in too much usage it can last for 8 hours. For those that stream online and play games a lot this is actually fair.
I wanted you to experience how it feels like messaging on the mini ipad yourself but it won’t do me any good. The size of the screen makes the device great for messaging. The keyboard is portrait oriented making it very comfortable for people that love typing with both hands. If you are like me that loves jumping from one contact to another the ipad mini makes it much easier. And for the second time in this article this Ipad is better to use for messaging than the bigger ipads.
Proccessor
I know some people have hoped for M2 Processor or even the A18. But i am guaranteeing you that the A17 in this device is more stronger and capable to do anything you want to do more than other ipads. I was surprised when my friend told me that she uses this Ipad as laptop, same way she does with her Ipad pro. The A17 can do most of the task bigger ipads can do without slowdowns.
Screen
For watching videos, the mini ipad should not be compared to other bigger ipads with larger screens. But however the Mini ipad is still portable and fine. If i am watching a video like Romeo and Juliet, i will prefer to watch it with a larger screen. If you are getting this Ipad for watching videos only, then i am sorry to discourage you. i advise you go for ipad with a bigger screen
